Manual Service Fee
The Manual Service Fee (MSF) is the ticketing fee or markup applied to your passengers' flights. Once set, this fee is automatically included in the displayed prices in the Search Results.

Load all GENERAL rules first. General rules are service fees not restricted to a specific carrier, destination, or other criteria set up in the Flights Booking Portal. These can apply to both Domestic and International bookings. In the example below, the rule is general because the fee applies to ANY airline and ANY destination.

SECONDARY rules apply when a Service Fee is imposed on specific carriers only. For example, the fee applies to PR for any destination.

Load the TERTIARY OR DOMESTIC service fee rules if you wish to apply one.

When setting up a Manual Service Fee, using criteria is optional. It's crucial to establish rules that are realistic, manageable, and justifiable. Here are common criteria used for setting up your Manual Service Fee:
Plating Carrier

Data Source also known as Booking Source.

Route Type

Origin and Destination: Set specific fees for particular routes.

Total Number of Segments: Define a service fee for each segment.

Combined Fares' Manual Service Fee
With Combined Fares now available in the Flights Booking Portal, it is important to set up a separate Manual Servcice Fee for it. Look for the Mixed Fares criterion in the settings and set it to Yes.

The total number of segments will remain the same even if fares are combined. The system will count segments per PNR or booking, but the fees should be doubled. For example, if the fee per segment is PHP 100.00, with combined fares it becomes PHP 200.00 for one segment, PHP 400.00 for two segments, and so on.

Important Note:
While it is encouraged to have a manual service fee set, you can still manually input a fee before confirming a booking. Do note that if you do this, the prices returned in the Search Results are subject to whatever fee you want to apply.
