Low cost carriers (LCCs) are airlines that offer low fares by eliminating many traditional passenger services. They typically provide basic transportation with optional add-ons for baggage, meals, and seat selection at an additional cost. LCCs often operate point-to-point routes, avoiding expensive hub operations. Policies such as strict baggage limits and fees for changes or cancellations help keep prices low.
