Combined Fares
Introducing Combined Fares
Combine LCC (Low-Cost Carrier) and PH-LGCY (Legacy Carrier) bookings into a single transaction, enabling you to purchase flights from various airlines in one go. This new feature simplifies the booking process, providing more options and flexibility, integrating the cost-efficiency of LCCs with the extensive network of PH-LGCYs.
Combined fares may involve the same airline, as some booking classes or flight schedules cannot be priced as a single transaction. By using Combined Fares, you can offer a wider range of options to your passengers.
It's important to note that while offering combined fares, the treatment of bookings will remain as it is currently. PH-LGCY bookings will continue to be supported by the WCA Connect Team, while any concerns regarding LCC bookings must be directed to the respective airline. Be aware that fare rules for LCCs and PH-LGCYs differ significantly, so it's critical to understand these distinctions. Additionally, keep an eye out for any errors and ensure both bookings have an issued status to avoid complications.
Notes:
Combined Fares can be PH-LGCY + PH-LGCY, LCC + LCC, PH-LGCY + LCC.
Cebu Pacific and CA-LGCY are not yet available for Combined Fares.
Combined Fares is not available for DOM bookings with SRC and PWD passengers.
Combined Fares is not available for INTL bookings with CHD, INF, and INS passengers.

The Flights Booking Portal returns the best combined fares by evaluating booking class, flight schedule, and baggage inclusion.
Flights that offer combined fares will be clearly labeled to help you identify these options easily. The booking source for these combined fares will be determined based on the first segment of the selected option.

Please inform your passengers of the fare rules before creating a booking. Fare rules are returned per segment, so be sure to check both segments and convey the information to your passengers.

An Order Create Fee still applies, which is refundable if you proceed with the payment for the booking.
Order Creation
During order creation, spend time reading the fine print for the Combined Fares. Continue with the booking process if you agree with the terms. If not, select a different option without the Combined Fare label.

If the combined fare includes a Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) segment, we will adhere to the most restrictive time limit to complete a booking, which is thirty minutes. For more detailed information about this policy, please go here.

If the booking includes an LCC segment, you may still purchase additional services before paying for the booking. PH-LGCY segment's additional services will be available through Flight Assist once the booking is paid.

Pay for the Ticket
If the combined fare includes a Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) segment, we will adhere to the most restrictive payment time limit, which is twenty minutes. For more detailed information about this policy, please go here. Additionally, payment option will only be PayB2B or deduction from your Deposit General wallet.

If the combined fare are both PH-LGCY segments, we will follow the paymen time limit of five hours including the option to pay using your card. For more information, please go here.

Booking Management
As highlighted, the treatment of bookings will remain as it is currently. PH-LGCY bookings will continue to be supported by the WCA Connect Team, while any concerns regarding LCC bookings must be directed to the respective airline.
The Orders List will display both PNRs and booking sources for each order with a combined fare.

The Bookings List will display each PNR individually for easier management.

When you open an order, both PNRs or bookings may be viewed with the same details of a regular booking. For more details, please go here.
Orders with the PH-LGCY + LCC combination do not require extra steps to sync changes in the PH-LGCY Segment. However, for PH-LGCY + PH-LGCY combinations, individual booking management is required.

Electronic Tickets
Combined fares will generate one electronic ticket copy, streamlining the travel documentation process. This ensures that your passengers receive a single, unified ticket rather than multiple documents for each leg of their journey. It simplifies management and reduces the chances of confusion or error. Make sure to check the combined fare details to confirm the correct ticket information.
Two PNRs and ticket number/s (PH-LGCY only) will be displayed on the ticket.

Notes:
Orders with LCC segments will not display a price breakdown. To show the total amount paid, tick "Show total prices (for all passengers)" and make necessary edits as needed.
Orders with LCC segments will not display fare rules. However, if a PH-LGCY segment is present, Fare Rules will be displayed. You can edit the electronic ticket to include LCC penalty fees if needed.
You should set up a separate Manual Service Fee rule for Combined Fares. For more information, go here.
