user-police-tieVisa and Entry Guidelines

The Flights Booking Portal now includes access to Visa and Entry Guidelines most commonly known as TIMATIC. This feature enables you to conveniently check the latest visa and entry requirements for your passengers’ destinations directly within the booking process.

Not only that, TIMATIC is now available in a summarized form powered by AI, making it easier for you to quickly understand the visa and health entry requirements for your passengers.

However, while we provide this helpful information, it is always best to verify with the embassy’s website or office, as they hold the final decision on entry into their country.

TIMATIC is available for both LGCY and LCC flight searches.

What is TIMATIC?

TIMATIC or Travel Information Manual Automatic, is a global database maintained by IATA (International Air Transport Association) that provides up-to-date travel documentation requirements, including passport, visa, health regulations, and entry restrictions. Airlines, travel agencies, and other industry stakeholders use TIMATIC to verify passenger compliance with immigration and border control rules before departure.

How to Access TIMATIC?

Flights Booking Portal

TIMATIC is now available before you confirm a booking, allowing you to check the latest visa and entry requirements for your passengers’ itinerary. This ensures you can inform them of any necessary documentation they need to confirm or prepare before completing their booking with you.

  • Once you have entered the itinerary and number of passengers in the Flight Search form, select the appropriate option in the portal to proceed.

  • Once you select an option, you must enter the nationality of your passenger(s), as this is essential for generating TIMATIC information. Each nationality has its own visa privileges and entry requirements, so providing the correct citizenship ensures accurate and relevant travel information.

Passenger 1: Philippines
Passenger 2: United States
  • Once you enter a nationality, the Visa and Entry Guidelines option will appear under the Itinerary section of the Order Creating page. This will allow you to view the relevant travel requirements based on the passenger’s nationality.

Click on the Show Visa and Entry Guidelines menu to view TIMATIC.
  • The TIMATIC window will begin loading and retrieving the relevant guidelines. The loading time may vary depending on the number of segments in the itinerary and the nationality of your search. Additionally, this time includes the summarization of information into a more readable and understandable version, ensuring you receive clear and concise entry requirements.

  • Easily navigate between destinations, including transit points if applicable, and seamlessly switch between nationalities to view the relevant visa and entry requirements for each.

  • The full version of the guidelines is available below. However, for the most current visa and health requirements, please consult the official embassy or consulate, as they have the final authority on visa issuance and entry requirements.

Full version of TIMATIC.

TIMATIC is also available once a booking is confirmed. Simply open the booking and look for the “Show Visa Entry and Guidelines” button, as shown below.

Bookings with Combined Fares can also access TIMATIC. Simply open the order, and each booking will have the “Show Visa and Entry Guidelines” button available.

Mobile Application

TIMATIC has been available since the launch of our mobile application, and good news—it is now available in a summarized version for easier understanding of visa and entry guidelines.

To access this enhanced feature, make sure you are using the latest version of the application.

Click this button to view TIMATIC.

Once launched, verify the nationality. If incorrect, update it within the app to ensure accurate travel requirements and avoid issues at checkpoints or borders.

Unlike the Flights Booking Portal version, bookings with multiple nationalities will be displayed in one window, allowing you to simply scroll through the information.

If the itinerary includes a transit, each nationality will also show the corresponding transit visa requirements, ensuring all necessary travel details are easily accessible.
