Global Expansion: CA-LGCY
We are pleased to share that we have further expanded our reach by partnering with credible and trusted agencies to establish our Point of Sale (POS) presence globally. We are starting this strategic collaboration with Canada as part of our ongoing commitment to making our services more accessible and strengthening our global footprint.
In the travel industry, Point of Sale (POS) refers to the geographical location or market where a booking, ticketing, or transaction is made — not necessarily where the travel will occur. POS plays a key role in determining fare levels, tax application, and even airline availability.
For example, if a travel agent in Canada issues a ticket for a flight from Manila to Tokyo, the Point of Sale is Canada even though the travel is outside Canada.
Flight Search Results
We have added a new Booking PCC under LGCY: CA-LGCY. This new PCC is properly loaded and correctly tagged in the Flight Search results to ensure accurate identification.

With this enhancement, each flight option may now be sourced from CA-LGCY, PH-LGCY (previously referred to simply as LGCY and our key source of fares), or even from both PCCs.

In cases where PH-LGCY and CA-LGCY offer the same booking class and schedule, the Flights Booking Portal provides you with the option to choose between the two, with any fare advantage clearly highlighted to help you make the best selection.

Once you have selected a CA-LGCY fare, you may proceed with the standard booking process in the Flights Booking Portal as usual.
Bookings
You can easily filter your CA-LGCY bookings by navigating to the Bookings section, selecting PCC, and then clicking on CA-LGCY. This allows you to quickly view and manage all bookings under this source.

Deposit General
All CA-LGCY transactions are properly tagged in the Deposit General Wallet for easier tracking. You may refer to the Ticketing PCC date/time column to quickly identify which deductions correspond to your CA-LGCY bookings.

Additionally, in the same column, you will also see the Canada time (EDT) indicating when the ticket was issued. You can use this timestamp as a reference to determine whether the ticket is still within the allowable window for voiding.
In the example above, the CA-LGCY booking was issued on March 27 at 09:34 AM EDT. In the Created column, you will see the corresponding Philippine Time (PHT), which is March 27 at 09:34 PM — reflecting the 12-hour time difference between EDT and PHT.
Please note that aside from these details, all other information in the deposit records will remain the same.
