Ticket Voiding (Updated)
Similar to Fare Validity, the ticket voiding deadline for CA-LGCY bookings will follow the Eastern Standard Time (EST) timezone, which is observed in Canada. Please be reminded to factor in the 13-hour time difference between Philippine Time (PHT) and EST when processing void requests.
For CA-LGCY tickets, voiding must be requested on or before 10:00 PM (EST) on the same calendar day the ticket is issued or 11:00 AM (PHT) the following day. Requests received beyond this cut-off will no longer be accepted, and the transaction will follow the standard refund or reissuance process.
For example, if you ticketed a CA-LGCY booking at 09:00 PM EST on November 5 which is 10:00 AM PHT on November 6, you will only have one hour to request voiding. Please refer to the table below on when you should request voiding considering on when you issued the ticket:
07:00 AM, November 5
08:00 PM, November 5
10:00 PM EST, November 5 11:00 AM PHT, November 6
11:00 PM, November 5
12:00 PM, November 6
10:00 PM EST, November 5 11:00 AM PHT, November 6
09:00 PM, November 5
10:00 AM, November 6
10:00 PM EST, November 5 11:00 AM PHT, November 6
Summary:
For CA-LGCY bookings, tickets issued between 12:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST must be voided on the same calendar day based on EST.
In Philippine Time (PHT), this corresponds to tickets issued between 01:00 PM (same day) and 11:00 AM the following day.
Considering the ticket voiding cut-off for CA-LGCY bookings, it is highly recommended to carefully review all booking details before issuance. Taking a slow but sure approach—including reconfirming all information with your passenger—is always better than having to request a void afterward, especially given the time-sensitive nature of CA-LGCY transactions.
