Reduced Travel Tax (RTT)
TIEZA allows for a reduced travel tax rate for certain categories of travelers. For example, children (CHD, INF, INS) traveling internationally may qualify for a reduced tax rate, such as PHP 810. To avail of this reduction, travelers must present a Reduced Travel Tax Certificate as required by TIEZA. Apply for the Reduced Travel Tax Certificate here.
If a passenger cannot obtain an RTT certificate, request a PH Tax Override from the WCA Connect Team at [email protected]. Include your username, PNR, and a copy of the passenger's passport in the email request.
You can confirm if your selection has a reduced travel tax before finalizing a booking. Click on the price breakdown and look for the tax code PH.
Notes:
Applying a tax override results in a higher fare. It's important to notify your passengers about this change to ensure transparency and avoid any confusion. It is recommended to include tax list in the Enhanced Ticket.
This special modification is applicable to PH-LGCY bookings only.
If you are able to immediately issue the ticket without needing to reach out to the WCA Connect Team, please take the initiative to do so. However, if you choose not to, and your booking receives an ADM, the amount will be deducted from your wallet along with the airline's ADM admin fee.
